The only questions worth exploring are the difficult ones, the questions that push both actor and audience to a place of discomfort for the purpose of growth and transformation.
Welcome! I am a California raised actor, director and collaborator who splits their time between Los Angeles and the Bay Area. I have worked both on and off stage with San Francisco Playhouse, foolsFURY, Ragged Wing Ensemble, Crowded Fire Theater, American Conservatory Theater, Capital Stage and I am a familia member with Campo Santo and Latinx Mafia. With a particular interest in new works, I am drawn to collaborative and ensemble centered processes grounded in ritual, ceremony and community. This generation is empowered and entrusted with the task of diversifying the American media canon like never before, telling stories never been told before to better represent the full complexity of the human experience. As actors, we are creative vessels for this necessary work and I hold the task sacred.
I hold a B.A. in Sociology and Theater from the University of California, Berkeley and have trained with American Conservatory Theater, the SITI Company, Kimball Studios NYC, LA Acting Studio and The Groundlings.
I am a proud Xicana from East Los Angeles.
All my work is dedicated to my first inspiration to pursue acting
my first inspiration to live fully, loudly and clumsily
my late brother
Christopher Paul Don
whose bold spirit guides me every step of the way.
